Parents of a schoolboy have sued two school employees alleging they forced their son to strip and shower in front of them.
The eight-year-old was accused of bad hygiene in November last year and taken to the nurse's office at Peaster Elementary in Texas.
The two employees then proceeded to wash the boy violently with a washcloth - scrubbing him all over.
It is claimed they also stuck cotton buds in his ears while ridiculing him for being dirty reports the New York Post.
The boy's horrified parents Amber and Michael Tilley said they lodged a complaint with police but no charges were brought.
The Tilley's filed a lawsuit against Peaster Independent School District and the two members of staff named as Julie West and Debbie Van Rite.
Amber Tilley said: 'It's terrible and we don't want anything like that to happen to any other children.'
The couple say their son has since had to visit a therapist claiming the incident left him 'visibly and severely distraught.'
Amber Tilley said: 'He just kept on and on wanting to take baths. He just felt so disgusting.'
Mrs Tilley added that her son did not have bad hygiene and did not smell of body odour.
Peaster Elementary was not available for comment on Friday.
